It's pretty much a standard maple snare drum. I do like that it is only a 6 ply shell; keeps the tone fairly mellow and under control volume wise. The Die Cast hoops give those nice rim shots.

    That was cool Zak!!

As others have mentioned, placing a mic maybe in the center of where you guys are playing would help the sound track portion. At times, because of the camera's mic placement, it almost makes it sound like people are off pitch (I know that's not the case

You guys look good. Sound great! You're ready for those high $$ paying gigs at Disneyland!!

Now all you have to do is bolt your kit to a shopping cart chassis so you can wheel it around the park

I enjoyed that clip. Nothing OTT, just perfect for the arrangement; tasty & musical. Nice.

Though I'd like to hear the entire tune now! ;op

    Hey Zak nice playing.

How d'you tune your snare? There's a nice crack to response ratio going on there?

Not quite, it's a 20" K Custom Dry Light Ride.

In regards to snare tuning I can't say I do anything special. I keep the batter head at a medium high tension and have the bottom head right around the same. Pretty standard tuning I'd say.
